Kate Copeland, 22, has a profound commitment to community and mentorship, enriched by her roles within her family and as an adventurer and musician. Her journey has been shaped by significant mentorships in sports, music, mental health, faith, and academia, inspiring her to mentor others. She founded THRIVE, an award-winning mentorship program for female business students. Kate’s leadership was highlighted during her tenure as Head Girl at Hillview Christian School and as Wellbeing Prefect at Middleton Grange School. Currently, she is preparing to head to Austria, after being selected for UC’s Global Exchange program at Vienna University of Economics and Business, for which she is supported by this grant. Kate is on track to complete her LLB and BCom by 2025, aiming to deepen her global perspective and enhance her professional contributions. Looking ahead, she aspires to be admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor, release her music on Spotify, and establish a multifaceted legal and counselling service to impact her community positively.
