At 23 Angus is building on his Canterbury Uni Music degree (1st Class Hons) towards the world stage. Having sung since he was 10, Angus got serious 6 years ago through study, performance, public recitals and national tours, winning numerous scholarships, competitions and helping to introduce opera to 20,000 NZ primary children. One of few Christchurch opera singers with constant work with our national opera company Angus is ready to go global. This Grant will help Angus attend the NZ Opera School 2020 to learn from leading international tutors as the next step towards moving to Germany for further study.
